The projects Opt-IN and EDIH-DO at TU Dortmund University invite students to participate in a 24-hour hackathon from July 11 to July 12, 2025, at the Centrum für Entrepreneurship & Transfer (Wilhelm-Dilthey-Straße 2a, 44227 Dortmund).

 
The hackathon will begin on July 11 at 9:00 AM on-site at the Centrum für Entrepreneurship & Transfer and will conclude on July 12 around 5:00 PM. Don’t worry – continuous attendance is not required. A detailed schedule will be sent to you after registration.

 
This event is aimed at students of all disciplines who wish to apply their academic knowledge in a hands-on setting. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to establish valuable connections with potential employers from the region.

 
During the hackathon, you will work in small teams to develop innovative solutions to real-world business challenges with a focus on Smart Home. Reputable medium-sized companies such as Parax GmbH, VREEDA GmbH, and fior Familie GmbH will provide company-specific challenges related to the smart home sector, seeking creative and forward-thinking solutions.
